Welcome to Sail Caledonia

Attention all Past & Potential Sail Caledonia Participants!

Sadly, despite Mike’s and Paul’s best efforts, it won’t be possible to hold an event in 2025. But mMost of the groundwork has been done, so there is every chance there will be an event in 2026. However, we do still need some enthusiastic volunteers who can help to move things forward.

Our current plans are as follows, but we’ll announce full details here and on Facebook when they’re ready:

• A static event, based at Foyers, running from a Thursday to Monday.
• All racing on Loch Ness, which gives huge scope for varied races.
• Accommodation would be camping, glamping and B&Bs.
• Support boats would be:

• Loch Ness barge (providing breakfasts, packed lunches and evening music venue)
• Emu with Rooster rib for safety cover
• Lochnagar possibly providing race logistics

• Evening meals TBD (possibly hotel restaurant and barbeque or an outside caterer)

The owners of Foyers pier are currently installing a pontoon which may be available for us to use and there is a new slipway at the campsite.
